Removing a Room Calendar from Outlook:
Using the room “Music-LWRH” as an example.
With Outlook open to the Calendars view, scroll down to the “Rooms” section.
Right click on the room you wish to remove and select “Delete Calendar” from the menu that appears. This will remove the calendar from Outlook desktop program as well as Outlook online.
Close all programs and reboot your computer.
Adding a Room Calendar to Outlook:
Using the room “Music-LWRH” as an example.
Open Outlook and go to the Calendar view. Scroll down to the
Rooms” section.
Right click on “Rooms”, select “Add Calendar” and select "From Room List”.
Scroll down the list until you see “Music-LWRH”. Double click on the room so it pops into the Rooms field below the list and click OK.
Check to see if the Calendar contents are showing up properly.
View a Room Calendar from Outlook online
Open the web version of Outlook (https://outlook.com/brandonu.ca)
Click the Calendar view. If the additional room calendars you added to Outlook are not showing, click “Show all”.
Scroll Down the list and place a checkmark beside the Calendar you would like to view.
In this example we used the room “Music-LWRH”.

Open the web version of Outlook (https://outlook.com/brandonu.ca)
Click the Calendar view. If the additional room calendars you added to Outlook are not showing, click “Show all”.
Scroll down to the calendar you wish to remove.
Click the “…” button to the right of the calendar name and select “Remove” from the list. This will remove the calendar from Outlook online and Outlook desktop program.
Adding a Room Calendar with Outlook online:
Open the web version of Outlook (https://outlook.com/brandonu.ca)
Click the Calendar view. If the additional room calendars are not showing, click “Show all”.
Click “Add calendar”
Select “Add from directory”, under the “Select an account field”, select your email address from the drop-down list.
Now enter the email address associated with the calendar. In this example we are adding the Music-LWRH calendar, and the full email address for the calendar is: music-lwrh@brandonuniversity.onmicrosoft.com, select “Use this address” in the address that pops-up below what you have typed. It will say the address cannot be found as it is not searchable, but that is ok.
Select the calendar folder you would like the calendar to show up under. In this example I selected the “Rooms” calendar folder.
Click “Add”.
Close the “Add calendar” window and look under the “Rooms” calendar folder to see if the room appeared.
Turning Off Outlook Cache:
With Outlook open click “File”.
Click “Account Settings” then “Account Settings” again.
In the “Account Settings” window select “Change”
Uncheck “Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook data file” and click “Next”.
You will be notified to restart Outlook for the changes to take effect. Click “Done”
Close the “Account Settings” window.
Close Outlook. Wait at least 30 seconds to allow all Outlook background processes to close. Open Outlook again to see if your Calendars appear properly.

Click “Account Settings” then “Account Settings” again.
In the “Account Settings” window select “Change”
