Security Warning When opening a File from the network
To stop this message from coming up every time you open an intranet file or program, go to "Internet Options" (type it in the windows search box) – "Security" tab – "Local Intranet" from the zone options – "Sites" button. Uncheck “Automatically detect intranet network” and placed a checkmark on the three items below it. Click "Advanced" and in the field provided type: *.brandonu.ca (once saved it converts to file://*.brandonu.ca). Uncheck “Requires server verification” and close the windows. Screen shots below.
