This Guide is to help you change your password when your login is still working, and you just want a new password. If your password isn't working, then you'll want to use our Password Recovery Guide instead.


1) First open any web internet browser (MS Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari) and visit https://portal.brandonu.ca or https://login.microsoftonline.com



2) Enter your BU email address and password and click "Sign In"




3) Click on your Profile Name/icon in the bottom left corner and choose "View Account." (some screens it may show in the top right)



4) On the next screen choose "Password" on the left menu





5) The new password that you will need to enter will need to conform to our Account Password Rules, please see those requirements here:  BU Accounts - Password Requirements

It may ask you to confirm your current password, then you'll need to enter your new password and click "Submit"
